Disney + is refreshing on PS5
Disney has officially announced that the new Disney + app is available on Sony’s PS5 console.
Meanwhile, you could watch Disney + on PS5, but because it was based on the existing PS4 app, the PS5 was limited to support a resolution of up to 1080p.
The newly released Disney + for PS5 supports 4K HDR. To use it, download the PS5 Disney+ app again from the PS5 Media section.
Various OTT competitors such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and HBO MAX already have 4K support enabled on PS5, so this Disney + update is considered a little late that it can be enjoyed in 4K.
On the other hand, unfortunately, existing PS4 and PS4 Pro users don’t receive much benefit, and 1080p is still the limit.
