[Berlin joint]Freiburg, Germany’s first division soccer league, announced on the 5th that it has acquired Japan national team Ritsu Doan (24) from PSV Eindhoven of the Netherlands first division league.
Doan will be in the German first division league for the first time in two seasons since playing for Bielefeld in the 2020-21 season. Through Freiburg, he commented, “I’m happy to be back in Germany. I think it’s a good club to grow further.”
Freiburg finished sixth last season and has qualified for the European League this season.
