On Saturday in Fort Worth, Tex., TCU hosted West Virginia with the remaining postseason bowl eligibility still on the line. Victory over the visiting Mountaineers is the sixth horned Frogs of the season.
For West Virginia, who has already lost seven games, the only consolation would be to keep the TCU bowl ineligible for a third time in 19 seasons under the coach Gary Patterson.
Wait a little more than two minutes in the fourth quarter and your quarters-back of the Jarret Doege Mountains, the game did not go well. He threw through mediation, had -7 rushing rod and his trailed team, 17-13.
Then, things changed.
Doege wore a wide receiver Isaiah Esdale, who had only one catch for the day for four yard gains. The inflammatory sophomore carried birth over the shoulder and ran to the final belt, crossing just inside the pylon for a 35 yard scoring play, providing the final margin of victory in the 20-17 victory.
The Esdale winner's reception is Catfish Raise Week of the Week “Catch the Week.”
For the game, Doege spent 158 yards and two backs, including the strike to Esdale.
Remember… the gatekeeper tent or the pre-games party is “Catfish U. S. Farm-Aradha”.
