According to the Chungnam Fire Department on the 20th, a woman in her 40s, the mother of a 7-year-old boy and a boy, was attacked by a dog in an apartment square in Pyeongcheon-ri, Taean-eup, Taean-gun, around 4:20 pm the day before.
The mother and child, who were attacked by the dog, suffered major and minor injuries to the face and left shin, and were transferred to Iksan Wonkwang University Hospital. One of the dogs captured at the scene is said to be a pit bull terrier. According to the Animal Protection Act, the pit bull terrier, along with the Rottweiler, is classified as a dog that may harm human life or body.
If the dog owner does not properly manage the dog, such as moving it away from the breeding area, a fine of up to 3 million won will be imposed.
