“The Taliban live in a world with a large presence on Twitter, and yet they have silenced your beloved American president,” Trump said in a statement. On January 6, Trump was expelled from social media for pointing out that Donald Trump had instigated the Capitol riots. Nine months after the incident, it was announced that Trump would announce the formation of a new social media.
Trump announced that the new venture was created through a merger with the Digital World Acquisition Corporation. Ever since he was banned from Twitter and Facebook, Trump has made it clear that he will launch his own social media site.
