All humans have trouble sleeping. Modern people are always suffering from mental and emotional labor. Insomnia comes from stress. When you are stressed, the sympathetic nervous system is overactive and the adrenal cortex secretes the exciting hormone cortisol, making it impossible to sleep. The main cause of stress is mental fatigue rather than physical overwork. Televisions, smartphones and lights fuel mental fatigue. Don’t put it on top of your bed.

30% of humanity suffers from insomnia and 5% suffer from chronic insomnia. Sleep is a strange thing, and the more you use it to sleep, the more ironic it is that it stays up all night ‘getting away’. I’m more scared ‘I really need to sleep, but what if I can’t? What if I can’t sleep forever?’ Fear comes from worrying about arrogance.

This intense effort to sleep is eventually learned as insomnia, along with anxiety, worry, and fear, leading to sleep disorders. 1. You must sleep 7-8 hours?
