Doosan Dong-A launches ‘Word Adventures of Isaac’ application

Doosan Dong-A (CEO Nakyang Seong, www.doosandonga.com) launched the first Korean-English-Chinese creative word learning application for kindergarteners and elementary school students, ‘Isaac’s Word Adventure’.

‘Isaac’s Word Adventure’ is an adventure-type story progression, and is a learning application that helps children aged 4-10 years old to study Korean, English, and Chinese words with interest. Isaac Durst, a popular instructor who is appearing in public English education programs such as SBS and EBS, participated to enhance the professionalism of learning and to keep children interested through familiar voices.

In each process, the ladybug, the main character, meets and helps 12 animals (12 zodiac) who are in trouble, it is designed so that children can practice simple words and sentences. It is not a simple memorization of words, but various game functions have been added so that learners can become familiar with the words themselves through the voices and words that come out when they touch the objects related to each animal.

When you touch an empty space corresponding to a word, an image that serves as a hint appears, and the word is provided as a sound source for each word in Korean, English, and Chinese, so that you can naturally access three languages.

In addition, it consists of initial menus such as Read and Record, and includes interesting game functions such as puzzle solving, hidden object finding, and finding the wrong picture. In addition, by composing an English fairy tale told by Isaac’s familiar voice, it is possible to effectively build up listening skills.

A Doosan Dong-A official said, “It is a learning application that allows you to study Korean, English, and Chinese words naturally while experiencing Korea’s first creative word app book with a storyline. Because it is based on the foundation, it can increase the concentration of children and induce them to learn on their own.”

The ‘Word Adventures of Isaac’ application can be downloaded from the Apple App Store for both phones and pads, and has been released in a free Lite version and three paid versions. The price is $3.99. Also, after June 18, it will be available as an Android phone version, and you can enjoy ‘Isaac’s Word Adventure’ on the Galaxy Tab 10.1-inch and 8.9-inch, which will be released in Korea soon.
