Extreme caution has been issued in Jammu and Kashmir
Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir Police has registered an FIR under the UAPA in connection with the blast at the Jammu Air Force Airport.
The first blast occurred at 1.37pm and the second at 1.42pm. Two people were slightly injured in the blast.
The Defense PRO Lt. Col. said no equipment was damaged at the scene of the blast. Colonel Devender Anand informed. He added that more information was needed as the investigation began.
He has been charged with conspiracy and terrorism under sections 16 and 18 of the UAPA.
The NIA, which is continuing in Kashmir in connection with the investigation of another case, has been asked to reach Jammu. The NSG team from Delhi will also reach the spot.
Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh spoke to Air Chief Marshal HS Arora, Vice Chief of Air Staff, about the incident. Air Marshal Vikram Singh will also arrive in Jammu, the Union Defense Ministry said.
