According to the woman, Ajmal and Salim Kumar locked her in a room, gave her drugs and sexually assaulted her. He also threatened to spread the video footage of the shooting. They say he also used his ATM card to steal money. Police have also registered a case against Christina, the owner of the lodge, for providing accommodation to the accused. Shameer, an aide of the accused, is also accused in the case.

The lodge where the incident took place was sealed by the police. Meanwhile, the woman said that when the police went to check and prepare the report, the room was cleaned and a new bedsheet was spread. The police were not ready to give him a copy of the FIR. At the police station, he would recognize a police officer who had sexually assaulted him with his hand.
