On the morning of the 28th, Judge Yang So-eun, the 21st independent criminal of the Seoul Central District Court, held a sentencing hearing for Lizzy, who was charged with violating the Act on Aggravated Punishment for Specific Crimes, etc.

Judge Yang pointed out, “The defendant was drunk and drove in a state where normal driving was impossible, and he injured the victim in a traffic accident.”

He explained the reason for the sentencing, saying, “We have taken into account the fact that the accused is a first-time offender, the victim’s injuries are minor, and that the accused has agreed with the victim and does not want punishment.”

Lizzy, who attended the trial that day, had her head bowed with a dark expression.

Lizzy was indicted on charges of injuring a taxi driver when she was driving while intoxicated on the night of May 18th, near the intersection at the southern end of Yeongdongdaegyo Bridge in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Lizzy’s blood alcohol level at the time of the accident was found to have exceeded 0.1%, which is the level of license revocation (0.08%).

At the previous trial held in September, Lizzy said, “I feel regret and guilt every day, and even in my dreams, I reflect and blame myself. I promise that I will never commit such a disgraceful thing again.”

Meanwhile, Lizzy debuted as a member of the group After School in 2010 and was also active as a member of the unit group Orange Caramel. He has been acting since 2018.
