On this day, the prosecution asked the court to sentence him to one year in prison and a fine of 100,000 was won. Prosecutors explained, “Iru committed the crime repeatedly over a short period of time,” and “the punishment needs to be strengthened.”
Eru’s side appealed for mercy, “Considering the fact that the driving distance was very short, no human or material damage occurred, and the fact that he actively participated in the investigation, please give him a chance.”

However, at the time, Eru’s blood alcohol level and other specific drunk driving charges were not confirmed. The police applied the charge of aiding and abetting a criminal to escape only to Mr A and sent him to the prosecution in November last year.
Afterwards, through a supplementary investigation, the prosecution confirmed the circumstances under which Eru agreed with Mr. A to change and drink driving, and applied the charges of aiding and abetting criminals to Eru.
Separately, on December 19 last year, he is also accused of driving under the influence of alcohol and crashing into a guardrail in the section between Hannam Bridge and Dongho Bridge in the direction of Guri, Gangbyeonbuk-ro, Seoul.
The sentencing hearing is scheduled to take place on the 15th at 1:40pm.
