Dubai : The second week of Expo 2020 Dubai, the world’s festival, has attracted more than seven lakh visitors.
From October 11 to 17, 7,71,477 people bought tickets and came to see the expo, officials said. The announcement was made at a news conference on Monday morning. The expo, which is spread over an area of four square kilometers, was visited by visitors from 181 countries in the last one week alone. The number of visitors increased by 12 per cent in a week. About half of the visitors have bought season passes to get to the Expo venue several times. More than one lakh people came to the Expo for the second time. 35,000 people came for the third visit.
In the first 10 days of the expo, 4,11,768 people bought tickets and visited. This is the number of people except the organizers and other event attendees and invitees. The organizers said that as the second week enters, the school students will start arriving in droves at the expo venue.
