Dubai Expo: Six days paid leave for government employees

Dubai has announced a six-day paid holiday for government employees in Dubai to mark Expo 2020. The move comes at the behest of Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The aim is to give government employees a chance to understand the global innovations on display at the World Fair, which runs for six months starting October 1st.

Iowa leave can be taken any day until March 31, 2022. Each pavilion of the expo, which will feature 192 pavilions, will showcase the latest innovations of the respective country. Sheikh Hamdan said that Expo 2020 is a unique event that will bring the world to Dubai and bring knowledge, culture and creativity from all over the world.

Our goal is to put into practice the expo theme of ‘Connecting Minds and Creating a Future’. We want our team to be familiar with the creative ideas of the world. The government has established a working model based on creativity. The goal is to reach the highest levels of excellence. Sheikh Hamdan added that such experiences are needed to inspire new ideas that will help make the projects aimed at the UAE for the next 50 years a reality.
