A delivery driver is attracting attention by disclosing the income he earned in one week.

On the 29th, several online communities posted photos of riders working as delivery drivers to prove their profits. This cigar, who is estimated to be working as a baemin rider, earned a whopping 1.43 million won for a week from the 20th to the 26th.

During this period, a total of 205 articles were delivered. That equates to about 30 deliveries per day. The total delivery distance is 303.9 square kilometers. Each case moved an average of 1.4 km2 and earned an average of 6,800 won per case.

Although it looks like a relatively short distance, in general, delivery applications (apps) are not the actual distance, but a straight-line distance from the restaurant to the delivery destination in most cases. Therefore, the actual travel distance is expected to be much longer.

As the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) continues to spread, the demand in the delivery market is rapidly increasing. As a result, there are reports that the rider’s body weight has risen significantly. However, there is also a forecast that it will be difficult to sustain such high profits as the demand for delivery is expected to decrease relatively compared to the previous situation with the transition to Corona soon.
