‘Earth Exploration Life’ Jeong Dong-win, labor without a break… The growth of a storm in two days

While Jung Dong-won from ‘Earth Exploration Life’ showed a more sophisticated appearance by sweating precious beads through the labor experience in Sri Lanka, he was proud to convey his feelings after a dramatic reunion with Kim Sook.

MBN’s Global Project ‘Earth Exploration Life’, which aired on the 16th, recorded the highest viewer rating of 2.7% based on Nielsen Korea. On this day’s broadcast, as soon as Kim Sook arrived in Sri Lanka in 20 hours and had a tearful reunion with Jeong Dong-won, she poured out the harsh ‘Sukparta Teaching’ and laughed.

First, Jeong Dong-won went out to distribute ice cream to those gathered at the Sri Lankan festival site, with only the perceived temperature exceeding 50 degrees. Jeong Dong-won, surprised by the endless crowd procession, began the hard labor of taking orders in poor English for a while and grabbing and distributing three flavors of ice cream one by one, and surprised everyone by selling the ice cream out of within an hour of sweating.

Next, Jeong Dong-won exchanged eggs with the other party and participated in a holiday festival where the non-breaking team received a prize, and burned his will to keep his promise to give the first-class gift to Sudatt’s grandfather. Jeong Dong-won was delighted with the miracle of not breaking the egg thrown by Sudat, but Sudat made the mistake of breaking the egg thrown by Jeong Dong-won, giving up the championship again. Since then, Jeong Dong-won has experienced the unique culture of Sri Lanka, such as playing in the water with local children at Galle Fort, a famous tourist destination in Sri Lanka, cooling off for a while after hard labor, and meeting a diving master on a point dizzy dive.

Returning home, Jeong Dong-won put on a traditional Sri Lankan holiday outfit called a ‘sarong’ and lit a fire in the middle of the living room and shared the holiday ritual of boiling a jar of milk. And although Jeong Dong-won shed tears at the smoky smoke that filled the house, Kim Sook appeared with a large suitcase and surprised Jeong Dong-won. Kim Sook recounted the arduous journey and shouted, “If I hadn’t seen you when you were young, I wouldn’t have come here!” Then, while the elders were given the time to raise the triple to celebrate the holiday, Kim Sook said, “You must grow up healthy and well. I will always watch over you,” making Jeong Dong-win nervous.

After that, Kim Sook started cooking Tteokguk, which is the representative food of Korean holidays, and at this time, she gave Jeong Dong-Won a mission to “peel the garlic and wash it.” Jeong Dong-won, who was peeling garlic for the first time in his life, washed the garlic in unpeeled tap water, and ended up crying as he rubbed the whole garlic against the wall as Kim Sook constantly shouted “Dong-won! ” Jeong Dong-won took supporting roles such as chopping garlic, slicing green onions, and slicing leeks, but showed poor skills, and made everyone laugh by pretending, saying, “I didn’t work at home because I’m the son eldest” in response to Kim Sook’s disapproving response. Finally, a table full of holiday food that crosses borders, such as traditional Sri Lankan holiday food prepared by the Sudhat family, rice cake soup prepared by Kim Sook and Jeong Dong-won, and Jeon.

Bedtime was approaching, and Kim Sook praised Dong-Won Jeong, who had grown up, saying, “You’ve become more mature.” Jeong Dong-on bowed his head as if embarrassed by the praise, and distributed a research journal full of his feelings in Sri Lanka. In response, Kim Sook praised Jeong Dong-won for becoming more mature, but after checking the search log that only filled 7, warned, “If you don’t fill 100, you won’t be able to board a direct flight when you return to Korea,” and laughed.

On the other hand, Sudatt, who runs a Korean restaurant in Sri Lanka, started making kimchi with ingredients shipped from Korea, and surprised everyone with his art of making kimchi without any special recipe. Sudatt and his friends, Jung Dong-won and Kim Sook, set up a K food table with chicken feet, pork feet, and homemade kimchi and sang a trot together as the ending, making them look forward to the next story to see what else chapters will develop.

‘Earth Exploration Life’ is broadcast every Tuesday at 9:10pm.
