San Salvador: El Salvador, a Central American country, is preparing to build the world’s first bitcoin city. El Salvador’s move comes after it became the first country in the world to legalize bitcoin, a cryptocurrency. President Naib Boukel announced that the goal would be achieved by raising funds through bitcoin bonds. Bouquet said it was his dream to build a bitcoin city, just as Alexander the Great, the Macedonian king, built cities. He said the city would be circular with residential areas, commercial centers and airports.
