Muscat: A subcommittee met yesterday to discuss issues related to electric cars. Environment Authority Chairman Dr. The meeting was attended by Abdullah bin Ali Al Amri and several authority officials.
Adal bin Ahmed Al Lawati led the way. The committee discussed with the Royal Oman Police (General Traffic Department) the facilities for charging electric vehicles, plans for this, and the installation of electric charging equipment and other necessities at gas stations.
The characteristics of the roads, modifications to the roads if required, and plans to switch from conventional cars to electric were also analyzed.
