Elon Musk: Putin is richer than me

Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk has criticized Putin’s hidden wealth and made a mockery of it.

“I think Putin is much richer than me,” Musk said in an interview with Matthias Duffner, CEO of Axel Springer, the parent company of Insider, an American economic media outlet, on the 27th (local time).

He answered Matthias Duffner’s question, “How does it feel to be considered the richest person in the world?”

Some speculate that Putin may be the richest man in the world. In 2017, financier Bill Browder revealed at a U.S. Senate hearing that Putin’s personal fortune could reach up to $200 billion.

He also indirectly criticized President Joe Biden, saying that an aging politician is leading the United States.

“America has a very old leadership,” Musk said.

He did not specify who the elderly politician was, but it is interpreted that he was targeting the leadership of the Democratic Party of America, including 79-year-old President Biden.
