Early this morning, Microsoft’s official design team went live on YouTube to showcase the new job administrators in development.
In the live broadcast, the Intel i7-7660U processor used in the official’s computer aroused the attention and discussion of some netizens.
When Win11 was launched, Microsoft set an upgrade threshold. In addition to requiring the device to support TPM 2.0, it also restricted the processor of the device.
The Intel i7-7660U used by this official is not in Microsoft’s list of “Intel processors supported by Windows 11”.
This means that Microsoft officials use a computer that theoretically cannot be upgraded to Win11 to demonstrate the new features of Win11.
In fact, although Microsoft has always emphasized that there may be problems running Win11 on non-standard devices, there have been many users who have upgraded the new system by bypassing the inspection in various ways.
Even not long ago, a blogger successfully installed the Win11 system on a 2006 iMac and it ran normally.
