The only consolation for England was a draw in the fourth Test. Australia’s newcomer Pat Cummins is also proud of his performance in the first series as captain.
The rest of the Ashes series is a major crisis for England. The English, who have excelled in white ball cricket, are lagging behind in Tests every day.
