Ennapter AG (ISIN:DE000A255G02) together with its partner Yestie (YEST) has received an order from South Korea for the delivery of two HMI electrolyzers with a total capacity of 2 Mega. The system will be used in a 12.5 MW hydrogen pilot project on Jeju Island, a project funded by South Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (Motie) won 62 billion ($43.3 million) with the aim of verifying and comparing hydrogen production with different electrolysis technologies Ennaptor AG is the only technology supplier of Germany or Europe among the five companies chosen to participate in this project. The system is expected to produce more than 1,000 tonnes of green hydrogen per year, and Yestie. which has been supporting Ennapter since 2021 as an integration partner. Two HMI Multicore electrolyzers will be installed in this pilot project for South Korea.
The Multicore HMI engine enables Ennapter to develop a more cost-effective system. This electrolyser can produce around 450 kg of green hydrogen per day, and by using multiple units side by side, the production scale can be reached to an industrial scale.
