LONDON: A ticket worth £111.7 million in Friday’s EuroMillions lottery draw has been submitted to the UK’s National Lottery Department, officials said. The prize is worth around INR 1146 crores. UK National Lottery officials said they had received a claim and it was currently going through the assessment process. Once the ticket is validated and paid for, the winner can decide whether or not to share their information with the public.
As well as the UK, people from Andorra, Austria, Belgium, France, Ireland, Isle of Man, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland take part in the EuroMillions lottery competition.
The person who claimed the ticket will become the 18th holder in the UK to win more than €100 million in the EuroMillions jackpot. Lucky Stars 10 and 11 are numbers like 03, 12, 15, 25, 43 etc. to win the jackpot amount. Tickets cost two and a half pounds.
