National Secretary Pankaja Munde shocked the BJP. He surprised the party by addressing a public meeting held at Ambejogai in Beed district to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. They declared that even Modi cannot defeat him if the people are with him.
Pankaja Munde said, “If I live in people’s hearts and minds, nobody can stop me politically. Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to end the present dynastic rule in Congress. I am also come from a political family. But if I live in people’s minds, even Modi can’t stop my political career.”
Pankaja is the eldest of the three daughters of senior BJP leader Gopinath Munde, who died in a car accident in Delhi. It was during the Munde period that they stepped into electoral politics. In 2009, he contested from the Parli Assembly constituency in Beed and won. That’s when Munde moved to the Lok Sabha.
