Chennai: A former AIADMK MP was assaulted by Grihanathan after he went to a neighbour’s house in a drunken state on the eve of Diwali. Former AIADMK MP R Gopalakrishnan’s Diwali celebrations in the Nilgiris district went to the neighbors’ house.
The incident took place in Muthalammanpet area. With this, the family took care of him. The video was also recorded. He then lodged a complaint at the Coonoor Nagar police station.
Police have registered a case against the former MP and his accomplices for trespassing inside the house. Gopalakrishnan is undergoing treatment at the hospital.
