Thodupuzha: Tamil Nadu has warned that excess water will be released through the spillway of the Mullaperiyar dam. Due to this, the people living on the banks of the Periyar should be careful.
The water level in the dam was 141.45 feet at 10 pm on Thursday. Currently, two shutters of Mullaperiyar are open. 6187 cusecs of water flows into the dam.
