Chennai: A college student who practiced on the steps of a running train had a miserable end. Neeti Devan, 19, a BA Economics student at Presidency College, died at the scene. He was hanging from the steps of a train and on a window sill when he slipped and fell while exercising. He was rushed to the Tiruvallur government hospital but could not be rescued.
Southern Railway, regretting the accident, said it was a reminder and advised to avoid showing practice on the train. The video of Justice Devan showing dangerous exercises with friends has been widely circulated on social media.
