F1 world champion Max Verstappen has dismissed Helmut Marko’s claims that he is installing a racing simulator in his private jet as a ‘misunderstanding’. Red Bull Motorsport Advisor Helmut Marko spoke in a recent TV interview about Max Verstappen’s participation in the virtual 24 Hours of Le Mans and his commitment to drive as much as possible.

The story of fitting a simulator inside a private jet has made headlines since then, but what Max Verstappen actually told Helmoo and Marco last year was the new motor that will take him to the European races the this season. He says he is to set up a simulator at home. “I think it was Helmut who said that, but I think he misunderstood,” Verstappen said. “I’m building a new motorhome for a trip to Europe for an F1 race, and I said let’s put it there so I can still go when I come back in the evening. “It’s a thing, and you can always keep the antenna up. I think you misunderstood and called it a plane.” A photo of Oscar Piastri driving a McLaren road car around Melbourne recently surfaced on Reddit, with the poster claiming that Daniel Ricciardo was in the seat the passenger. The photo was later used by the media as proof that the two had formed a friendship despite Daniel Ricciardo losing his McLaren F1 seat to his younger brother, Oscar Piastri. However, Ricciardo, Red Bull’s third new driver, has revealed that he is not the one in the photo and that he did not meet Oscar Piastri in person during the off-season. “To be honest, he is a meme,” said Daniel Ricciardo. “He was in a McLaren with someone who looks like me, so I think people are like, ‘Oh, Daniel is teaching Oscar how to drive,'” she said. “But it wasn’t me, and we weren’t together. We spoke a bit late last year.”
