Honda will hold “Honda Racing THANKSGIVING DAY 2022” on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Mobility Resort Motegi in Tochigi Prefecture. This event, which has been well received by fans, will be held for the 14th time this year. In addition, it will be held in the same location for the first time in three years since November 2019. On the day of the event, the program of interest will be streamed live on YouTube from 8:00.
Honda has grown up with racing since its inception, and has refined its people and technology through racing. And with the racing spirit of drawing dreams and being obsessed with winning, he participates in different categories of races for motorcycles and cars this season.
Honda Racing Appreciation Day is an event to express our gratitude to the fans who support Honda’s motorsport activities. In addition to exciting performances by riders and racing machines from a variety of motorcycle and four-wheel racing categories from Japan and abroad, Honda’s unique collaboration event of riders and drivers and various content is included, and is open to a wide range of age groups from children to adults providing an amazing experience at the circuit.
On the day, four F1 drivers, Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez from Red Bull Racing, to whom Honda supplies F1 engines, Yuki Tsunoda from Scuderia AlphaTauri, and Pierre Guthrie, Marc Marquez and Sato who will take part in MotoGP Takuma and drivers / Honda riders participating in SUPER GT and SUPER FORMULA in Japan will participate.
Fan participation type conflict program
Honda riders and drivers are divided into Team Red and Team Blue and face off in 7 programs, competing for victory or defeat based on total points. As well as points given by race position, support points can be gained from fans cheering on the team. The autographs of 100 riders/drivers will be submitted by lottery by those predicting the winning team.

The winner is determined by the total points of the conflict points of the race + FANBOOST. Race points are 1st: 20pt, 2nd: 10pt, 3rd: 0pt. FANBOOST is 10pt.
20 points are given to the 1st place team, 15 points to the 2nd place team and 10 points to the 3rd place team according to their position in the team’s competition programme. Also, the program per team will award 20 points to the winning team and 5 points to the losing team.
Fans will vote on which team to support on the @HondaJP_live Twitter account during cheering time, and the team with the most votes will be awarded 15 points. Cheering time will be 10 minutes from the start of each program.
