DistroKid announced that the company is delighted to support independent artists at no extra cost to the creators. Philip expressed his excitement in partnering with Facebook and Instagram for the exciting initiative.

An independent artist can get their music on Facebook and Instagram through simple and easy steps. The First step in getting a song on Facebook and Instagram is to select a distribution partner of their choice. Whichever distribution company an artist decided on, there is zero cost for participation.

The next step is to sign up with the preferred music distribution company via Facebook Music. Once the sign-up is completed, the song will be uploaded to the distributor’s website. As soon as the distributor accepts the music, the uploaded music will be available to be used for Stories, Reels, and every other music library of Facebook. Payment follows immediately according to the terms and conditions of the distribution company.
