Fair Trade Commission fined 110 million won for Fashion Group Hyungji for passing on transportation costs to agency

The Fair Trade Commission discovered that Hyungji, a fashion group that owns women’s wear brands such as Crocodile Lady, unfairly handed over shipping costs to an agency.

The Fair Trade Commission announced that it would impose a fine of 112 million won on the fashion group Hyungji for violating the agency law.

In addition, a corrective order was issued to prevent the same or similar actions in the future, and we ordered that all agencies be notified of this fact.

According to the Fair Trade Commission investigation result, Fashion Group Hyungji moved the clothing items stored at the agency from January 2014 to December 2019 to another agency with a high sales rate, and the agency had to pay the entire shipping cost.
