Kochi: Guest worker arrested for treating fake doctor in Perumbavoor Sabeer Islam, 34, of Murshidabad in Bangalore, was arrested by the Perumbavoor police. Several guest workers came to him for treatment.
He took a fee of Rs 1,000 from an Assam native who sought treatment. He was then given medication and put on a drip. The young woman fainted after being given the drip. With this, the police got the information about the fake doctor.

Police later found a syringe, a stethoscope, syringes, pills and BP Apparatus in his possession. The police investigation was based on a tip-off received by Rural District Police Chief K Karthik.
