Fall baseball elimination KIA 5th place fight NC cold water… 53 comeback win

The KIA Tigers, who were confirmed to be eliminated from ‘Autumn Baseball’, caught the ankle of the busy NC Dinos, who were going to the ‘fifth place fight’.

KIA defeated NC 5-3 with Kim Seon-bin’s 2 RBI from a comeback in the 2021 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League visit game held at NC Park in Changwon on the 22nd.

NC was caught in an important game and stayed in 7th place, 1.5 games behind the 5th-placed Doosan Bears.

KIA turned the game around by scoring 3 points in the 8th, which was led to 2-3.

Starting with the ball hit by lead hitter Ji-hyeok Ryu, Preston Tucker and Tae-jin Kim made the first-round run-through chance to make a 3-3 tie with Park Chan-ho’s push-out walk.

Kim Seon-bin hit a just-in-time hit in the right-middle of the two-team full-base chance that continued, and added two more points, turning it 5-3.

Ki-Young Lim, a starter for KIA, had an uneasy start with three runs in the first inning, but from the 2nd to the 7th innings tied the NC line with one hit and won seven of the season.

Gi-young Lim, who gave 4 hits and 3 runs in 7 innings, recorded her first quality start against NC (pitching 6 or more innings and 3 earned runs or less) in her career.

Jung Hae-young of KIA, who made the youngest 30 saves in history in the match against kt wiz on the 20th, appeared at the end of the ninth inning and blocked the NC batting line without a score, and achieved 31 saves of the season.

Hyunsik Jang of KIA, who appeared in the bottom of the 8th inning, also took the 33rd hold of the season.
