Fashion brand ‘Blanc & Eclair’, founded by Jessica, has been embroiled in a lawsuit worth about 8 billion won for default

Singer Jessica (Jung Soo-yeon), a former member of Girls’ Generation, is embroiled in a lawsuit worth 8 billion won.

According to local media in Hong Kong on the 27th (local time), fashion brand Blanc & Eclare was sued for failing to pay its debt of about 8 billion won.

Blanc & Eclair is a company founded by Jessica after leaving Girls’ Generation in 2014, and the representative position is Jessica’s boyfriend and Korean-American businessman Tyler Kwon.

Previously, Blanc & Eclair borrowed $3 million (KRW 3.54 billion) and $1 million (KRW 1.18 billion) from Spectra SPC twice in October 2016 and May 2017.

Then, in August, Joyking Enterprise signed a loan transfer agreement with Spectra SPC and became a real creditor. However, when Blanc & Eclair failed to repay the money on the 10th of the scheduled repayment date, it filed a lawsuit against CEO Tyler Kwon to repay the money in addition to the principal and interest.

Meanwhile, Jessica and Tyler Kwon have been dating for eight years since 2013, and Tyler Kwon is also the CEO of Jessica’s agency, Coridel Entertainment.
