Kolkata: FC Goa won the 130th edition of the Durand Cup by defeating Mohammedan Sporting 1-0 in extra time. Goa became the first ISL team to win the Durand Cup, Asia’s oldest football tournament.

The match at Salt Lake Stadium ended in a goalless draw at the appointed time. In the 105th minute, Goa won the toss and elected to field.

Earlier, Goa had won the ISL Shield and the Super Cup. This is the first trophy won by Goan coach Juan Fernando on Indian soil.

Goa’s Bedia wins Golden Ball The Golden Boot Award goes to Marcus Joseph of Mohammedans. Goa goalkeeper Naveen Kumar won the Golden Glow.
