A Fed official sees no signs of easing US inflation pressures

On the 23rd local time, the US Federal Reserve released the minutes of its November monetary policy meeting. The contents of the minutes of the meeting showed that the Fed officials who participated agreed that there were few signs of easing inflationary pressure in the United States; at the same time, most Fed officials supported slowing the pace of interest rate hikes.

At the November meeting, the Federal Reserve announced that it would raise the target range of the federal funds rate by 75 basis points to between 3.75% and 4%. This is also the fourth increase in the rate in a row by 75 basis points. Since March this year, the Federal Reserve has raised interest rates six times in a row, raising interest rates cumulatively by 375 basis points, and the interest rate level has risen to the highest level since January 2008.
