Femininity was insulted; A case was filed against PC George for misbehaving with the journalist

Thiruvananthapuram: Police have registered a case against PC George in the incident of misbehaving with a woman journalist. The case is based on the complaint of the journalist. A case was registered by the museum police under section 509 of the IPC for insulting womanhood.

The journalist’s complaint is that PC George behaved in a way that insulted her femininity. After the sexual harassment case filed by the accused in the solar case, the museum police registered another case against P.C. In the new case, PC George has been charged with a crime punishable by up to three years in prison.

After PC George was arrested in a molestation case on July 2, the incident occurred when he came out of the Thaikkad guest house and spoke to the media. The controversy arose when PC said, ‘But I can tell you your name’ to the journalist’s question whether it is wrong to say the name of the victimized woman.

PC George’s misbehavior was towards the journalist of Kairali TV. PC George had earlier publicly expressed regret over the incident.
