Alpine’s Fernando Alonso finished the 2021 F1 US Grand Prix Friday practice in 13th place.
“It wasn’t an easy day for us. We had a problem with FP1, but it was okay because the mechanics repaired it quickly and we were able to drive some. This is a bumpy road and truck. The conditions are quite demanding, “commented Fernando Alonso.
“I touched the barrier lightly at the end of the session, which shows how challenging it is. It’s hard to tell where we are in the timesheet, but there’s definitely work to be done tonight. Let’s see what we can do tomorrow. I hope we can have a smoother day. “
