Scuderia Ferrari is reported to be launching its first upgrade to F1-75 when the European season of F1 begins in Imola in late April.

Ferrari has made a good start to the 2022 F1 season and is in a fierce battle with Red Bull Racing at the forefront of the field. With the introduction of new-generation F1 cars this year, many upgrades are likely to be good when F1 returns to Europe, and Ferrari is no exception.

Ferrari reportedly is pleased with the F1-75’s current performance at the F1 Australian Grand Prix this weekend, and the simulator results show that the F1-75’s strengths are demonstrated in the revised fast layout, with Bahrain. It is believed that they can maintain the competitiveness they have shown in Saudi Arabia.

For most F1 teams, reducing the weight of the car is said to be one of the top priorities. Only the Alfa Romeo F1 team is believed to have designed a car that could approach the new minimum weight of F1.

Red Bull F1 motorsport adviser Helmut Marko has revealed that when F1 arrives in Imola in two weeks, the team plans to reduce the weight of the RB18, according to some reports, it will be 8 kg. It is said to be equivalent.

Ferrari’s F1 team representative Mattia Binotto believes this season is in a better position to compete for the title compared to 2017 and 2018, when he lost momentum towards the end of the season.

He also praised Ferrari’s work to build a competitive car, but expects rivals to make rapid improvements in the early rounds, so see who has the fastest car. I called attention when I did.

“I don’t think we have an advantage over others. Who has it will only be known after the first five races,” Mattia Binotto told Bild.

Currently, Ferrari is the leader in the Constructors’ranking, Charles Leclerc is the leader in the Drivers’ ranking, and Carlos Sainz is second.
