Ferrari F1 representative “F1-75 has already absorbed the details of rival machines”[F1-Gate .com]

Ferrari F1’s Mattia Binotto says he’s on the lookout for new car announcements from his rival team, already replicating one “detail” he’s found and absorbing it in the 2022 F1 machine F1-75. ..

As the pandemic of the new Corona Willis progresses, announcements in virtual mode continue this year, and the F1 team has adopted various policies on how much new machines will be released to the world.

Ferrari F1 became the seventh of the ten teams to unveil the 2022 F1 car. Mattia Binotto says that depending on how much the previous six teams unveiled the 2022 F1 car, there was something that caught the eye of Team and was soon incorporated into the new design.

“We are looking to see if there are any interesting ideas that we can incorporate,” Mattia Binotto told F1-Insider.

“The F1-75 already incorporates the details of the cars announced in the last few days, especially in this first phase, where we are all watching each other very carefully.”

Of course, the best opportunity for such an observation is an informal test, described as a “pre-season track session”, with all 10 teams participating in Barcelona from Wednesday to Friday this week.

At least, unlike some rivals, the Ferrari F1 unveiled the car online via Mattia Binotto and drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz. The Ferrari F1-75 is widely admired for its appearance, both in terms of structure and coloring.

Jean Alesi, Ferrari’s F1 driver from 1991 to 1995, describes the F1-75 as a “real wonder.”

“It has a very smooth and sophisticated nose. The machine is already impressive and a jewel. It wasn’t special because Red Bull is a show car, but Ferrari shocked it.”

Mattia Binotto said he was “brave” in the design of the F1-75 to turn the Ferrari F1 into a winner since September 2019.

“We made a different choice than others. It may not be stereotyped,” said Mattia Binotto.

“I think this car is brave, as a child of a team that has been through difficult times over the last few years but has always been united in improving.”

However, Mattia Binotto is looking for patience and does not believe that Ferrari F1-75’s performance in the opening two races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia will necessarily reflect the entire 2022.

“I think we’ll have to wait five or six races to fully understand the potential of the car,” Mattia Binotto added.

“The true value of the machine will only be revealed after a few races, but looking at the data, I’m convinced that the machine will work.”
