The Association (JBA) will hold the “FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup 2022 Qualifying” at Ookini Arena Maishima (Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture) from Thursday, February 10th to Sunday, February 13th. (Organizer: International Basketball Federation / Supervisor: Japan Basketball Association). We are pleased to inform you that we have announced 19 candidates for the Japan Women’s Basketball Team, “AKATSUKI FIVE”, who will be attending this tournament.
In addition, the candidate for the national team is scheduled to participate in the training camp held mainly at the Ajinomoto National Training Center (Kita-ku, Tokyo) from January 17th (Monday).
