FIFA World Cup 2022: England to secure pre-quarters, Qatar to survive; Today’s games : England take on the USA to secure a quarter berth; games today

FIFA World Cup 2022: Senegal beat Qatar by three goals to one in the World Cup. The African champions completely dominated the competition. Senegal kept their finals hopes alive with the win. Apart from making a few good moves, Qatar couldn’t do much. Qatar suffered a setback due to errors in finishing.

Qatar will make history by scoring the first goal in FIFA World Cup history. Qatar’s historic World Cup goal was scored in the 78th minute. Muhammad Muntari wrote history for Qatar. Muntari headed Muhammad’s cross perfectly and hit the net with a stunning header. Boulaye Dia, Famara Didio and Bamba Dieng netted for Senegal. The goals were scored in the 41st minute, 49th minute and 84th minute.

In the first match, Qatar lost to Ecuador by two goals. Senegal lost to the Netherlands by the same score. Sadio Mane’s injury dealt a blow to Senegal at the start of the World Cup

Iran beat Wales in Group B The goals were scored in injury time in a game that was close until the last minutes. Iran won by two goals without any opposition. The goals came in the eighth and eleventh minute of injury time, with Wales goalkeeper Hensey returning from a red card. Rousbeh Cheshmi and Ramin Rezain scored the goals.

Iran made great strides in the game putting Wales under pressure, but they could not capitalize on scoring opportunities. Iran took the lead in the 15th minute but were found to be offside in an offside war.

Gareth Bale’s Wales came into the game with confidence after pulling away from the brink of defeat against the USA. On the other hand, Iran, who were defeated by England six times, needed a big win to get back into the tournament.

Netherlands – Ecuador (Group A)

The powerful Netherlands will face Ecuador to secure the preliminary games, aiming for the second victory in a row. Against Senegal, the Netherlands had to wait until the 84th minute to find the first goal. The second goal in extra time sealed the victory. For Ecuador, the experience ahead is to secure the pre-quarters. Today is the Netherlands, next is Senegal. The match will be played at the Khalifa International Stadium at 9:30pm.

England – USA (Group B)
