At the Headquarters for Disability, a day of workshops was organized by professionals from the Family Intervention Unit (FIU), the municipality’s Family Program, Monika Carrasco Rodríguez and Laura Caroca Martínez. These workshops are carried out thanks to the award of the FOSIS Local Initiative Funds, which seeks to empower families and provide them with the necessary tools to improve their quality of life and that of their environment.

The workshop was focused on “Financial Education”, which was taught by the executive of BancoEstado, Cristián Jara, where the participants were able to acquire knowledge and skills to manage their finances effectively, providing useful and practical tools to the participants, in addition to guide on security and scams, providing tips to avoid falling into security attacks on your accounts.

The participants showed great interest and commitment in learning new financial tools and skills, which will allow them to make informed decisions in managing their money and improve their economic situation.

The conference was focused on delivering job training tools, where participants were able to acquire knowledge and skills to face the world of work effectively. The presentation was made by OMIL professionals, Ms. Arlette Ponce and Juan Aguilera. The workshop had the active participation of the Director of Dideco, Joselyn Fuenzalida, who at all times resolved the doubts of the beneficiaries, who showed great interest and commitment in learning new tools and skills.
