Firecrackers being thrown from tall buildings in Gwangalli… Police investigation

The police are investigating an incident where firecrackers were thrown several times during the night from a tall building on the side of the road.

According to the Busan Nambu Police Station on the 2nd, a report was received on the 1st at around 0:21 am on the 11th floor of an office building on Gwangalli Beach Road, Suyeong-gu, that lit firecrackers were being thrown to the side of the way several times.

Pedestrians who saw the incident were shocked and evacuated. Fortunately, no one was injured in the fireworks.

The police, who were dispatched after receiving a report, visited the place where the lighters were suspected to have been thrown, but were told that the fire had gone out and that there was no presence.

The police believe that the act of throwing firecrackers constitutes attempted grievous bodily harm, and they intend to arrest the person who threw the firecrackers and investigate the details.

A police spokesman said, “As the case is under investigation, we are unable to provide further details.”
