First national breaking national team, Kim Ye-ri, I have crossed my limits

Jeon Ji-ye, national representative, “I will announce more of my breaking achievements”

“It feels good to have surpassed my own limits and walls.

Kim Ye-ri (21, Yell), who won the title of ‘Breaking National Team’, dreams of an endless leap.

On the 27th, Kim Ye-ri took the trophy in the general category at the ‘2021 Breaking K Final’ held at SBS Prism Tower in Mapo-gu, Seoul.

This competition was held as the first national breaking national team selection match in Korea.

The 1st and 2nd place in the B-boy and non-girl categories will participate as the Korean national team in various international competitions, including the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games, before the Breaking K Finals next year.

With this, Kim Ye-ri also proudly wears the Taegeuk mark.

At a press conference after the match, he said, “I didn’t win the title on my own.

Thanks to everyone around me for helping and cheering me on.” After expressing his gratitude, “There were a lot of things I regretted about my movements myself.

As much as I won, I will work harder as a member of the national team to show a good image.”

Kim Ye-ri is a non-girl who has already proven her skills on domestic and international stages.

At the 2018 Youth Summer Olympics in Buenos Aires, Argentina, she won the women’s bronze medal in breaking.

Recently, she appeared on Mnet’s dance contest program ‘Street Woman Fighter’ (Swoopa) and received a lot of love from fans.

However, Kim Ye-ri was not satisfied with this and achieved her goal of becoming a national representative.

“I didn’t want to carry the title I won at the Youth Olympics until I became an adult,” he said.

As a national team member, I wanted to win the titles of the Olympic and Asian Games national team, but this time I seem to have overcome the limits and barriers myself.”

It is a place where the shoulders become as heavy as the joy.

Kim Ye-ri said, “There are a lot of people who support me, but I want to repay everyone for their support so that I don’t become a victim.

I will not settle here, I will work harder.”

Jeon Ji-ye (22, Freshbella), who became the national team in second place in the women’s division, also vowed, “I want to work harder to achieve good results and to promote Korea’s breaking culture more.”

He, who took the runner-up in the finals, said, “I’m not happy with the result, which is a little disappointing,” but said, “I will prepare harder for next year’s Asian Games.”

Jeon Ji-ye won the 1st Breaking K Tournament held in July of this year, and also earned the right to participate in the World Dance Sports Federation (WDSF) Breaking Championship to be held next month.

The championship, which was originally scheduled to be held in Nanjing, China last month, has been rescheduled and will be held in Paris, France next month.

Jeon Ji-ye said, “I went to a championship three years ago.

Since I have experience, I am trying to be more skilled.”
