Sasthamcotta | Famous cartoonist and folk song artist PS Banerjee (41) passed away at Manakkara Mana. The end is this morning. He died while undergoing post-coital treatment at the Medical College Hospital.
A native of Sasthamcotta, Kollam, Banerjee’s lines were noticed nationally. He has received the Lalithakala Academy Fellowship. He was a graphic designer in an IT venture at Technopark.
Patchu and Subhadra are the parents. Wife Jayaprabha. She has two children.
