Food security will be ensured in Kuwait; New countries will be included

A move to include new countries in the list of primary suppliers as part of increasing food security in Kuwait. Add countries and companies not included in the list before.

The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition has announced that it is committed to ensuring food safety in Kuwait. Local newspaper Al Rai reported plans to extend the shelf life of frozen meat chicken and other products to 120 days instead of 90 days. Kuwait has been taking excellent measures in the area of ​​food safety.

The country has food reserves that can be used for six months to a year. 95 percent of Kuwait’s food is imported. A ministerial committee was also formed earlier to improve food security and ensure that sufficient staple food items are available. Kuwait ranks first in the Arab world in terms of food security.
