For now, the clear autumn day continues… The daily temperature difference is less than 10 degrees

A little rain in the central region tomorrow morning… Precipitation time is less than 1 hour
Next Monday, light rain may be affected by pressure troughs in Jeju and the south coast

Clear autumn days will continue for now.

In a briefing on the 22nd, the Korea Meteorological Administration said, “For now, Korea will often fall into a systemically well-developed high pressure zone.”

However, on the 23rd, the autumn equinox, a low-pressure vortex with cold air in the upper layers is located between the southern part of northeast China and the northern part of the Korean Peninsula, and some rain is expected in the central region.

Rain is expected in the morning hours.

The expected precipitation is 5 to 10 mm in the metropolitan area and less than 5 mm in Gangwonyeongseo and Chungcheong.

On the 23rd, due to the cyclonic vortex, cold air from the north collides with the existing air from the central region, including the metropolitan area, forming rain clouds.

As the impact site is confined to the lower atmosphere, rain clouds are weakly developed at an altitude of about 3 km, so there is not much precipitation.

In addition, the cold air moving from north to south has a high speed, so the rain clouds will also move quickly, so the rain will be short in about an hour.

When cold air comes down from the north, the pressure gradient becomes stronger and a gust of wind can blow with a maximum instantaneous wind speed of about 15 ㎧ in some areas, centered on the central region.

In the northern part of Gyeonggi-do, gusts of wind and thunder and lightning can occur when it rains mainly in areas affected by the topography.

In the sea, a storm warning may be issued as strong north-westerly winds cause high waves in the central and central Western Sea.

On Saturday, the 24th, as the low pressure vortex moves further north east, a high wave will form in the East Sea focusing on the central part of the East Sea.

Next weekend, the entire country will be systematically placed in a developed high pressure zone.

On Monday, the 26th of next week, the central region will continue to be under the influence of high pressure, and Jeju and the southern coast could be affected by pressure troughs approaching from the west of Korea.

If affected by the pressure trough, it may rain lightly.

As there is a difference between the numerical forecast models and the various forecasts provided by each numerical forecast model, it is necessary to check the latest weather information in relation to the extent to which the pressure trough will develop.

From the 27th, the whole country will again come under the influence of high pressure.

On the 29th, there is a possibility that the pressure valley will affect Korea.

As sunny days continue for now, the daily temperature difference will be around 10 degrees.

When the sky is clear, when the sun sets, radiative cooling is active and the temperature drops and the temperature rises sharply during the day as the sun shines.

This is because there are no clouds which act as insulation at night and a shield during the day.

Meanwhile, Tropical Depression No. 27, which passed 920 km southeast of Kagoshima, Japan at 9 am on the 22nd, is expected to develop into Typhoon No. 15 ‘Talas’ within the next 24 hours, but will not affects Korea as it passes south of the Japanese archipelago.
