Foreign as opener with Rohit, not Ishan Kishan; A strong Mumbai Indians XI

Mumbai: Fans have already started counting and counting ahead of the 16th season of IPL. One of the leading fan groups is the Mumbai Indians. The question is whether Ishan Kishan will join Rohit to open with Jofra Archer in the pace line.

But according to the signs, it is possible that Cameron Green will play a leading role in Australia along with Rohit Sharma. Earlier, Green, who had started as an opener against India in India, had a scare. Hence, Mumbai Indians picked up the 23-year-old Green for Rs 17.50 crore in the superstar auction. In the three-match T20I series against India in India, Green’s aggressive innings attracted a lot of attention as he scored 118 runs with two fifties. Along with this, Green’s bowling is also crucial for the team. But Mumbai will have to be careful with Green’s workload adjustment as there are many bowling options.

If this happens, wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan will be number three. There is no doubt that Suryakumar Yadav will be number one in the World T20 ranks at number four. Tilak Varma and Tim David will follow this. Timm’s finishing skills will be crucial for Mumbai this season as well. Strike rate is what makes Tim David different from other players. Tilak Verma is one of the stars of Team India’s plans for the future. Last season he scored 397 runs in 14 games. Another crucial player is Ramandeep Singh. But Ramandeep needs to perform better than last season.

Jofra Archer, Arshad Khan, Kumar Karthikeya and Jason Behrendorff are likely to be in the bowling action. Jofra Archer will be the most notable of them. Any batting group will tremble if Archer returns to IPL form after a long layoff. Archer should be able to fully compensate for the absence of Jasprit Bumrah, who was the spearhead of Mumbai’s pace line.
