Former F1 driver Daniil Kvyat considers NASCAR conversion?[F1-Gate .com]

Former F1 driver Daniil Kvyat may be competing in NASCAR across the United States.

The news was revealed by Haas F1 Team representative Gunter Steiner. His boss, Gene Haas, also owns the highly successful NASCAR team Stewart-Haas Racing.

About NASCAR Gunter Steiner commented, “Many drivers want to try NASCAR.”

“Some have also moved to IndyCar.”

“These series are so different that this is a big step for them. It’s like imagining a move from NASCAR to F1. It’s not just about driving, it’s about the whole system.”

“Mick (Schumacher) visited the (NASCAR) race in Texas. Daniil Kvyat will come to the race in Martinsville.”

“Everyone who comes to NASCAR asks,’Gunter, can you set up to meet someone?’ Daniel isn’t racing in F1 at this time, so is there an interesting option for him? Will stop by to confirm “

Russian-born Daniil Kvyat, 27, lost his position in Red Bull’s F1 program at the end of last year and has been a reserve driver for Alpine F1 ever since.
