Malappuram: Former national footballer Makkaraparambu Kavungal Abdul Aziz (Malappuram Aziz – 73) has passed away. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. at the Juma Masjid in Makkarapparambu town. He was the captain of the Services, Karnataka and Mohammedans Sporting teams. Brother K Cheku is the first Kerala team member to win the Santosh Trophy.
